What is Communism? Does it frighten you? Because it SHOULD!
I am running into something that is kind of mind boggling to me lately, and that is a shrugging, apathetical, deaf ear to the threat of communism working it’s way into our government. I think that today’s young people, schooled by their left wing universities and our unforgivable slanted media, simply don’t have a clue what the danger of communism means! They have lived their lives in a free country, spoiled in an entitlement mindset and living like only a small percentage of the world is able to live. To build your own business, to worship as you please, to have a fair and just legal system and the list goes on. Communism has been the prison that millions of people have had to live their lives in, praying and hoping for a deliverance! And yet, here we are in todays presidential election, listening dumbly to Mr Obama smirk about being as “far left as you can get”. What is far left? Far left goes like this: democrat, socialist, communist, in that order. It is about government control. And as anyone who has been around since the fifties knows, government control is the thing we need to be on alert against. Government taking care of health care, government taking care of how companies are run, government giving hand-outs…these are all the ear marks and trappings of a communist mentality.
Communism, in concept, is arguably a nice ideal, where everyone is equal and cared for. The problem with it is as basic as the cat and the mouse though; those in power have ultimate power, and power corrupts. This is a simple fact of humanity.
Barack Obama started out his career as a “community organizer”. As we look more deeply at that we find that Barack Obama worked in the organizing tradition of Saul Alinsky, who made Chicago the birthplace of modern community organizing… rules, as stated in Wikopedia. The Obama candidacy is an effort to elect the first-ever Saul Alinsky organizer into the Presidency.
Let’s look at what that really means.
A fundamental element of the Saul Alinsky / Industrial Areas Foundation “community organizer” program is the practice of targeting:
- identified individuals for anger and denunciation:
- the organizational benefits of having enemies, and
- the need to create conflict and confrontation.
The IAF has included “targeting” in its training programs since at least 1972.
Does America really want someone in the White House who learned – and was not repelled by – the need to “build animosity” against “ripe targets”; to “mercilessly zero in on” those selected as targets, and the need to select new people to be fresh targets when the people targeted in the past have “become too shopworn to light up anyone’s emotional switchboard”? Obama has associations with people like Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn.
If you aren’t familiar with their names, they were members of “The Weathermen” in the 60’s. These were radicals who blew up buildings and killed people. The Weathermen emerged out of the 60’s as a result of anger at the United States and the Vietnam war. Their means of protesting the war (which was about stopping the growth and invasion of communism), and ultimate hatred of America goes far beyond correcting the problem. They proverbially threw out the baby with the dirty bathwater.
In his 2001 creed, ‘Fugitive Days‘, Ayers recounts his life as a Sixties radical, his tenure as a Weatherman lieutenant, his terrorist campaign across America, and his enduring hatred for for the United States. “What a country,” Ayers said in 2001. “It makes me want to puke.” This is an associate of our would-be president?
Ayers was an active participant in Weatherman’s 1969 “Days of Rage” riots in Chicago, where nearly 300 members of the organization employed guerrilla-style tactics to viciously attack police officers and civilians alike, and to destroy massive amounts of property via vandalism and arson; their objective was to further spread their anti-war, anti-American message. Reminiscing on those riots, “>Ayers says pridefully: “We’d … proven that it was possible — we didn’t all die, we were still there.”
In 2001, Ayers gave a small donation to Obama’s campaign fund, $200. That same year, ironically in comments published on September 11, 2001, Ayers had this to say about his bombing past, “I don’t regret setting bombs, I feel we didn’t do enough.”
In the year 2000, in addition to his professorship, Ayers is The Woods Fund board chairman, and a young state senator, who like Ayers is living in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, is a fellow board member–Barack Obama. Why any organization would have Ayers serving on their board (he’s not chairman any more, but Ayers is still on The Woods Fund board), is astonishing to me and any other person with common sense. And who’d want to serve with him? That year, Ayers and Obama (who should’ve abstained) voted to invest $1 million in Woods Fund money into a firm run by a former boss of the then-state senator, Allison Davis. In a different business venture, Davis partnered with Tony Rezko.

Which brings up Tony Rezko. That name has gotten a lot of publicity and you’ve probably heard about this.
He is a ’slum lord’ in Chicago who Obama has been trying to downplay his involvement with. Just pop Tony Rezko into a Google search and you’ll find tons of stuff.

Hitler won over control of Germany in similar circumstances. The people, just like Americans today, did not take the time to look into who the man was and what he was all about.

Obama is anti-Israel – yes, yes, I know that he is stating to the contrary now, but once again, all you have to do is throw those words into a Google search and you’ll find that he and his Muslim sympathizer associates Reverend Wright and Odinga Odinga of Kenya, and you’ll find that he has changed his tune only recently for the purpose of gaining election.
Is Obama a Muslim sympathizer? In 2001, while Obama and Ayers were both on the Woods Fund board, the foundation made a $40,000 grant to the Arab American Action network, followed up by an additional $35,000 grant in 2002. The co-founder of the Arab American Action Network is Rashid Khalidi who today is a Columbia University professor. He is a known harsh critic of Israel.
Professor Khalidi held a political fundraising event in his home for Obama.Khalidi said he hosted the event for Obama because the two were friends. One attendee was Ali Abunimah,
a Hyde Park Palestinian-American journalist sharply critical of Israel. Abunimah said obama convinced him “he was very aware of the issues and critical of U.S. bias toward Israel and lack of sensitivity to Arabs. he is very supportive of U.S. pressure on Israel. Obama was forthright in his criticism of U.S. polici and his call for an even-handed approach to the Palestinian-Istaeli conflict.” Abunimah is the founder of Electronic Intifada. Writing in March 2007 on Electronic Intifada, Ali Abunimah charged that Obama is engaged in a Middle East “make-over” designed to obscure the open advocacy Obama expressed for the Palestinian cause until he decided to run for the U.S. Senate. Obama “learned to love Israel” Abunimah wrote, not as a matter of personal belief, but as a political tactic designed to win Jewish votes and move to the more acceptable political center when running as a candidate for national office.” He wrote that the last time he spoke to Obama; “As he came in from the cold and took off his coat, I went up to greet him–He responded warmly, and volunteered ‘Hey, I’m sorry I haven’t said more about Palestine right now, but we are in a tough primary race. I’m hoping when things calm down I can be more up front.’”

His muslim support is evidenced in his support of Odinga Odinga (Obama’s cousin), who is openly communist who planned to implement Sharia Law in Kenya if elected. I’ll let you do the work of popping that story into Google for yourself.

Guys, I don’t know about you but this is terrifying stuff. Communism, (or Islam, or Racism) are not things to be toyed with, no matter how much we need a change in America, trust me, we don’t want that. Yet, I see one after another democrat turn a glazed eye to those facts and grumble about “no more years of Bush”. People, at the very LEAST, consider the lesser of EVILS! What is wrong with America is CORRUPTION! It needs to be cleaned up. Obama’s associates are all about corruption. Just the opposite of the solution we need!
There is more, but I think I’ve brought my point to the forefront. Why is the American public swooning with support for a man who has such a questionable background? Is not the presidency of the United States of America an office to be held by a person whose strong allegience to our constitution and government is exemplary? And yet there are questions as to his true religious allegience, his true national allegience, his true racial allegience, etc… Who is this guy? The number of questions and associations involved with Obama ought to be enough to disqualify him as a candidate in my opinion.
As I posted last time, Obama follows the “rules for radicals” laid out by Alinsky. Those rules include “saying anything to gain power”. People, that’s what he’s doing. He has chosen this time, when our country is in perhaps it’s greatest crisis, to stand up and scream “CHANGE”. But the spine shivering question is “change to WHAT!?” Where does he want to take us?
